Oh the good times in Vegas. What a 1st!

Wow.....my 1st time in Vegas. I didn't want to be that sick, hungover, black-out, needing-a-babysitter! I wasn't! I paced myself perfectly! Right off the plane we took a limo bus to T.I. (Treasure Island) and got ready to go out the the party. Body English inside the Hard Rock was the awesome club we went to the 1st night for RoRos birthday party.
A huge group of 15 ladies and 15 guys. Everyone kind of split up into little mini groups and I really partied it up with all the hotties! I took it major easy that night on the drinking and just danced my ass off....the club was amazing. We had our own little booth upstairs in vip with several bottles on the table. We partied till 4 and then everyone went to their respective hotels and got a few hours sleep. I stayed at Mandaly Bay which is such an amazing hotel.....so beautiful.
I took full advantage of the pool both days and really soaked up that Vegas 110 degree heat and sunshine. Laying out and splashing around in a huge, beautiful wave pool with a couple of hotties! I got a tiny war wound on my hip from getting tumbled in the wave, riding it up to the sand. Black Aqua Man almost landed on a lounge chair he rode it so far!!! I can't believe how fun it was to be walking around with a margarita all day, every day.
We hit the beautiful Foundation Room and club Jet on our second night (more dancing, little drinking) and Pure on the last night. All the VIP table bottle service and great group of friends made this whole experience a delight. First time in Vegas was great. Good new friends and fun times with old ones. I would definitely go back, but w/ a little smaller group (6 to 8 people)....I guess the money handlers got shorted at a couple of the clubs. No bueno. Anyway, I just wanted everyone to know where my new pics came from and what a perfect time I had. Dancing fool, watch out before I beat your knees (lol).

Loving Summertime in Seattle

This summer has been so outrageously perfect! Lots of time at the lake, in the sun at the beach, hitting golf balls and slinging drinks. I've really been living it up in Seattle. I got to play in the Warren Moon & Steve Pool golf tournament yesterday up in Newcastle





I've never seen or played such a beautiful course. What a great opportunity. I'm going to Vegas for the first time ever on Sunday. I'm so excited.

can't wait to get to the island. the halloween party goes off on maui and I need a mental break. Can't wait to see Reyna and the kids. Won't be bringing back gifts this time though!

Well, moving on....

Tuesday night after work, Katie and I had a couple drinks and went out to a club. It was a little weird because our new jack-ass GM was there with us. He is this crazy corporate jerk that came over to Ibiza from the Cuchina Cuchina in Belleuve. I came in to work today and he pulled me aside and fired me. He said that he had asked me to do several things last week that I didn't do. (I don't know what the hell he's talking about). He also said he had reason to believe that I was drinking behind the bar. Well one door opened for me before that one slammed. A new place is opening up next month in bell town. It is called El Portal and will be more casual than Ibiza. I already went to a pre-opening meeting yesterday so this is all strange perfect timing. I'm also going to Maui from the 24th to the 4th of november, so I'll just be taking an extra long vacation and then coming back to a new job! I'm a little sad, but I would have hated to work for that guy and love the new place! I'm in from the beginning, so that will make me a good member of Portal's family. The menu is amazing and it's a great place to come in and visit me at the bar with out anyone judging what you wear!!! Love my family and all the positive support I get even when things and decisions go wrong in my life.

waiting to hear something?

I was recently questioned by Mel Mel for not ever writing anything on my blog. I guess I thought I would always need a picture first to talk about. That's not the case and I'm doing fine. My bar manager just quit on Friday and two of the four bartenders at Ibiza are on vacation. This week will probably be the most hours I've I worked since starting at this place. I can't wait though, it means that I'm really needed and not the new girl anymore. I'm planning on saving all the money I make this week for my next vacation to Maui. I'll be leaving for the island the day after Melissa's birthday and coming back on November 4th! Sorry Mel Mel again for the bad experience you had at my work...that guy needs to get fired! I Love you!

I've been working insane hours here at Ibiza to cover my rent and bills. The club is nice and the people are great; I just didn't realize how much money I'd been making at the Scarlet Tree. I heard a rumor that the gutting and re-doing of the Tree is on a six to eight month timeline. I would go back in a heartbeat. Ibiza is swanky but the heart just isn't the same.

Here's a great picture of the family in Chile that Harrison and I stayed with. The Diaz Family. Belen, Consuelo, Me, Harrison, Andrea, Cote, Isi and Miguel. We had such a wonderful time with them. This is taken on our last night in Santiago before dinner. We crammed into one car for the four hour drive back to Chillan the next morning. Whoo boy talk about sardines!

just getting blog started and testing how to post pictures. I went crazy right before I went on a great trip to Chile and bought myself a new ibook. I love it! Best compulsive decision I ever made. I live in a duplex kind of shared house and recently discovered that I can use the wireless internet for free! Thanks neighbors.

Thursday morning, July 21st, the Scarlet Tree caught on fire from old wiring in the attic. I'd worked there for over three years and was shocked to find out about this when I was still on vacation in Chile. It's very weird, but I had a premonition that something bad was going to eventually happen to the Tree. I loved being there and don't know what's going to happen to it. Hopefully someone who loved the place will want to pump in the money to fix it up. S.P. used to call it "The Burning Bush". How prophetic!
